The WaterGeeks joined American Express and Turner Broadcasting as a national supporter of the 2009 Tap Project, the award winning, life-saving initiative that helps UNICEF provide clean water to children around the world.
 
From November 17, 2008, through to June 30, 2009, the WaterGeeks donated a minimum of 20% of the online retail price from the sales of six of our premium water products to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.  Designed with an eye to conservation and combating the global water crisis, the featured products included:

1) filtered sport water bottles, 2) stainless steel water bottles, 3) water saving shower head, 4) water saving hose nozzle, 5) dual spray swivel aerator, and 6) an all natural liquid soap.

In addition, WaterGeeks also donated $9 from each on-line sale of the FLOW DVD, an award-winning documentary which investigates the world water crisis.
 
Clean, safe drinking water is essential to life but nearly 900 million people do not have access to clean water.  In fact, the lack of clean water is the second largest killer of children under five.
